If there's one thing that's constant, it is change, and for this year's MSS,things changed a fair degree. By now, it is common knowledge to roadracing fans that this year's MSS saw a bit of a promotion in the excitement stakes. The formation of teams on the likes of WSBK and the addition the APRILIA CUP added much excitement to the MSS. I'm thinking this season is going to be the best ever. There were more people in the paddock than in the grand stand. Also thanks to SIC for opening the race gates to 2-strokers for smogging the track to rid it of mosquitoes for fear of catching the DENGUE. So what's to be done with Lee' the fisherman' Ching Hooi? Who can stop the part time model for LEE jeans from turning the MSS into Formula1 procession? The riders to watch out for this year are Poul 'danish pastry' Jensen and Armand 'the grease' Ali a former server of the Dark Lord. As for Paul Something, not much is known of him though he is known to keep a diary. In Race 1 saw the angler from Klang clear off in what was an awesome display of riding with the baker hot on his heels. The grease looked like he would be challenging both Poul and Panjang, fell back and then fell off and then showed he could have a career in marshalling as he frantically waved off the oncoming wave of superbikes bearing down on him as he couldn't get out from under the bike. The front tyre had enough... "Oh, not on my withered arm..." Keith Perkins joins on the tarmac. Expensive fireworks. How to look cool when you've hit the deck. "Bantal peluk??? Get this bike off me you idiot!" He was unable for post race comment as he was brushing the grease off his teeth and the Alpinestar out of his backside from team manager Sharool Yuzy for damaging the bike so soon after it had been sprayed. The chequered flag was out and to the delight of the paddock crowd, Lee took the first win with Poul coming in 2nd. An unlikely 3rd place went to Paul something who later logged in his diary "Excellent, the plan went to....plan. However, Poul was penalized 20 secs for overtaking under a Yellow Flag and relegated to 3rd, promoting Paul Something to 2nd. In Race 2, Lee was caught out by Poul, who showed that he is equally good with the bike as he is with the oven by taking the chequered flag with Lee 2nd and Paul something coming in 3rd who later logged in his diary "Excellent, the plan went to....plan. Panjang and Poul Battling for the lead. Who made it through the corner? "Armand 'the grease' Ali, it turns out, rekindled his faith in the force and homed in 4th. As for the rest of the field? Well,it was seen that the brakes on the pace car were replaced as the driver was constantly on them to avoid knocking into the rest of the field. However this cannot be confirmed. Who can beat the Panjang freight train? Will it be Poul Erik, Paul something or the seashell? We shall see in the next round.
