Because of calendar restraints, the last Round of the 2005 Malaysian Super Series was held on a Saturday with a one day qualifying and race format which proved to be popular with most of the riders as it gave them Sunday to recover. Weather again was fantastic with a cool wind and ideal conditions to set fast lap times. In the Supersports, Dilip Rogger crashed in the first race which caused Ahmad Ikhwan who was right behind him to crash too. Both riders were unhurt. In the second race of the Superbikes, Omar Ali Abdullah had a fall in Turn 4 because of an oil spill, which caused 4 other riders, Jeffrey Wond, Capt Norhisham, Dirk Nikolay, Mohd Shahrin Saad, to go down with him. The marshals brought out the red flag to stop the race. Thankfully there were no injuries. The race was then restarted without further incident.
