Malaysian MotoGP Weekend

The track actions of both the penultimate round of Polini Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix and the Malaysian Super Series' final round were successfully held at the Sepang International Circuit last week. More than a racing weekend, the event spurred on a number of off-the-track moments from bike launches to corporate events held all around the Klang valley.

More to celebrate, SIC will be hosting the MotoGP for at least another two years till 2010. With Valentino Rossi winning the crown at Sepang, the Malaysian Super Series event felt no less demanding for our 'local' champs. The temperature on the track rocketed over forty degrees at least.
Pictures from the long weekend can be viewed within. Register and log in to view the full gallery.

“It was great to see how quickly the team and the riders could adapt to our tyres which arrived just in time before round 3 and with no time for testing at all. We were confident from the beginning that the collaboration between such an experienced and professional team and us will produce great results.” says Pirelli Asia’s Area Manager Frank Obermeier.
